MathHarbor is a cloud-based platform that aims to take the pain out of numerical computing. The idea? Leverage the power of clouds for your numerical computing needs. Never again worry about installing and maintaining open-source numerical packages. Scale servers up and down, as and when you need to, within a matter of seconds. Save your models and data in a secure environment.
You get to share them with your colleagues - think of GitHub for equations. And..you pay, for what you use. No licensing. No hidden contracts. Nadda.
We currently support the following platforms on MathHarbor:
..and that's just the beginning. A lot more, including Julia, Mathics, and F#, on its way. Further, if there's a particular open-source package that you swear by, we'd love to host it.
While our pricing hasn't been decided yet, we have a general idea of how it should be. For individuals, we have a very basic pricing model, where you pay, say $30 per month. There will be some restrictions on the amount of server resources that you can consume, but you can always contact us if you need more.
What do you get? We're working on a series of carefully-designed short courses for general consumption. These courses will cover using tools such as like IPython, Julia, R, Octave, Sage, Sympy and more, for working on specific modeling scenarios.
Our first course is up, on Udemy - you can sign up for it here. You can also check here, for future courses.
If you're interested, sign up for our mailing list! Happy modeling!
